What does the statement audit cost?
Nothing, and it stays nothing. You send one month’s statement; the line-by-line comparison comes back within one business day and it’s yours to keep whether or not we ever talk again.
Do I have to switch processors to get the audit?
No. Staying put is one of the audit’s honest outcomes — if your current deal is fair, the sheet says exactly that.
What do you need from me?
One month’s merchant statement — a PDF or a photo from your phone. No account credentials, no forms, and never any patient information.
What happens to my statement after I upload it?
It’s stored encrypted, read by us for your audit, and never shared. Files are retained no longer than 26 months to satisfy federal record-keeping timelines, then deleted automatically.
What is interchange-plus?
Interchange is the card networks’ own cost — set by Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express, not by any processor. Interchange-plus passes that cost through unchanged and adds the processor’s fee as a separate, visible line. We do add a fee; the point is that you can always see it.
Why does my current statement make no sense?
Most confusing statements are tiered pricing: transactions sorted into qualified, mid-qualified and non-qualified buckets under rules your processor controls. Premium rewards cards — the ones patients use for larger treatment — usually land in the most expensive bucket. The audit names each bucket and what landed in it.
Am I signing a long-term contract?
The pricing model is the whole pitch — we’d rather keep you with itemised statements than with paperwork. Every account carries fixed monthly platform costs; the plan price absorbs them, and anything passed through instead is disclosed at cost on the pricing page.
Do my existing terminals work?
Usually — three of the four plans are bring-your-own-equipment, and the Mobile Business plan includes a free Bluetooth reader. Equipment gets confirmed during setup, scheduled around your practice day.
Do you only work with dental and medical practices?
They’re our focus, but we serve professional practices across the Carolinas generally. If your statement is confusing, it qualifies.
